I can't say I've ever cared at all about the spouses but the idea of Bill as the first First Laddie makes me giggle a LOT. I picture him sitting around the rose garden drinking bourbon with Mr. Feinstein, Mr. Pelosi, Mr. Boxer, etc. talking sports while their wives are running the country.

I was just thinking about the kind of meaningless projects First Ladies typically take on -- and I suddenly thought about Bill taking on "Peace in the Middle East."
Wouldn't that be a hoot?!!!! Could you imagine Bill negotiating peace between Israel and all of her nieghbors in his spare time?? It's one project he'd be suited towards working on...
Well theyd better get along because soon she'll be first lady and he'll be second gentleman.
