I’d like to hear what her agenda might be if she were interested in running.

She might turn out to be a Barbara Jordan, for all I know, in which case would instantly attract me to her.

Yes, Barbara Jordan would be considered by many to be on the conservative side today, but I saw her as a pragmatic centrist who put America first.

Sean Spicer weighs in on Oprah running for president, on TV's "Good Morning Britain".

Spicey can't get a job in the USA so he had to find work for a British TV show. I guess "America First" didn't work out so well for Spicey and he had to go global.

And Trump is not an elitist? A billionaire is a pretty elite group of people, how many do you know personally.

There should be some kind of standard - you are gainfully employed or have a certain level of education (I'd settle for a high school diploma) or thereabouts.

The fact that celebs like Rock and Oprah are the "serious" candidates right now is terrifying. At least Trump went to Wharton (Ivy League of business school) and has experience in business.
And Trump wasn't?

Not saying she'd be the best candidate but running against Trump? Yeah, I vote for her. Oprah came from infinitely more challenging circumstances than Trump, is wealthier than Trump, has read more books than Trump, is more stable than Trump, and isn't under investigation by the Justice Department unlike Trump.
Look at the date Waldo posted the post you replied to above.....June 13th, 2017.

Also, as of today (January 8th, 2018), on the Forbes 400 Real Time List, Trump is wealthier than Oprah (3.1 billion USD net worth vs. 2.8 billion USD net worth).

The bigots that refused to vote for Romney or McCain because they were white?

Even though Opea has a huge base of white women, I don’t think those same bigots would hold that against her.

Oprah's agenda would be:

You can lose weight on the Weight Watcher program!
