Too old? Why? She's 68 now and appears younger and fitter than her age (which I had to Google).

Warren would not be my choice for candidate, but her age is just fine. Or do you think it's OK for older men to hold the highest office, but not women?

Frankly, I would like to see all parties run women at the tops of their tickets.

That way we will have a woman for sure, and it is high time that we do.

Even Warren threw mud at Hillary: https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry...b0b0c7fa3919d0 This makes me doubt that Warren will ever get any real traction toward the nomination. She has more of a chance of an "accident".
Honestly, you could run against Trump and probably win. He won't win again. He'll be lucky if he's even the nominee.

The point of this thread is Trump running against Warren - many of us think she would not stand a chance. You cannot win the next election on simply 'I hate Trump'. You need policies and positions that bring our Country together - Warren and most Democrats do not have that. When you alienate half the voters your odds of winning are slim. Ivanka would do a better job if she ever ran against her father in 2020!

She's way too whiny and annoys people. People said Hillary was shrill, but Warren is even worse.

I would love to see a moderate woman like Susan Collins as President.

But, the left said that last time, and look what happened. If Warren is running against Trump, she will lose.

what an usual wish: seeing all parties with a female just so we could have a female president? I would like to think most of us vote based on views and not on gender, religion, sexual orientation or race. Would it be nice to have a female president? Sure, but not nice enough to vote based on that alone. As for her age, well 71 or so is pushing it. Reagan was under 70 when he won the first time and even Trump was barely 70. Much older than that is really pushing the box I think. I would say, it wouldn't stop me from voting for a candidate but I would want to be sure his/her running mate was younger and ready to take over if it was necessary.

you are seeing things trough your wishful eyes. At this stage it is way too soon to say if and who could beat Trump. It is even early to say he will be the candidate regardless as to how he is coming across. Remember 15 months ago, how many thought he could win including republicans? And what about 3 years ago how many took him seriously when he said he was a candidate of 2 years ago when we found out he was a candidate but no one dreamed he would get the nomination.

In the age group you quoted, women statistically outlive men by approximately 7 years and are usually fitter longer, as is Ms. Warren (as a reminder, she would not be my choice as a candidate).

What makes you think that having two exemplary women candidates at the top of both tickets means that they would be chosen on gender alone? And even if it were, how would that be different than the complete shutout of women for over two hundred years in this backwards country?

Do you think so little of women? (Whether you may be one or not, as your screen name suggests, there are many brainwashed women in this country who seem to think it is normal to take a back seat to men. Well, it was normal, but it isn't now, fortunately.)

There are thousands, nay, more likely millions of women far more qualified than the current occupant of the White House.

you are right about the age part. Yes, women do often outlive their men counterparts. This has been the norm for as long as I can remember. AS for women at the top of both ballots, we are not talking about that, we are talking about voters that vote for someone based on gender, race or some other special interest reason. I would vote for a female if I thought she was qualified and shared most of my views on issues.

What is Gods green earth would make you think I think females are inferior to men or should take a bak seat to them?

As for who is and isn't qualified, we are not talking about who is in the White house now or who just finished 8 years, we are talking about voting for someone based on their gender alone.
