6 for 10, starting with Reagan in 1980. You can pretty much figure the details from there.

Grew up in blue collar Macomb County, MI. Carter turned me, and a lot of others away from the dims forever. I've a feeling that 0bama has had the same effect.

Voted or the first time in 2000 when I was 18.

2 have won, 3 have lost, 4 won the popular vote, 1 lost

11 times out of the last 12. This was the first time I couldn't bring myself to vote for either one of those two losers.

Dems didn't like Obama much in my section of Western Pennsylvania either.

My college accounting instructor (circa 1978) absolutely despised Jimmy Carter. He called him a "God **^$ peanut picking, Sunday school teaching, &*&&% peanut farmer." In so many words.

I have voted in Three elections 2008, 2012 and 2016 I voted for Obama twice in 2008 and 2012 ,and Hillary in 2016.

So for me that's 2 wins and 1 loss.
wow, now voting becomes a game or win or lose; that is a new one for me. I have voted in 15 elections and never thought about wins and loses. I never thought about my win/lose average. Looking at it that way: I am batting just over 500.

Only voted in last two national elections (was a legal immigrant and not an American citizen before that, so couldn't vote although I was always politically engaged). Voted for the loser the first time (more a vote against Obama than a vote for Romney). Voted for Trump the second time.

My votes:

1976 - Carter - Win
1980 - Carter - Loss
1984 - Reagan - Win
1988 - Bush I - Win
1992 - Bill Clinton - Win
1996 - Dole - Loss (I thought I voted for Bill Clinton and a friend remembers otherwise)
2000 - Al Gore - Loss
2004 - Bush II - Win
2008 - McCain - Loss
2012 - Romney - Loss
2016 - Hillary Clinton - Loss

My votes are bipartisan even though I am a liberal extremist.

Since 1976. I don't remember who I voted for to be honest, and I know I skipped one somewhere along the line. I'm a Republican but I know I've voted Democrat at least half the time. I've even thought about switching parties a few times but I was always too lazy and now I don't want to anymore, there is nothing for me there since I'm not at all "progressive".

1972 - George McGovern (lost)
1976 - Jimmy Carter (won)
1980 - John Anderson (lost)
1984 - Walter Mondale (lost)
1988 - Michael Dukakis (lost)
1992 - Bill Clinton (won)
1996 - Bill Clinton (won)
2000 - Al Gore (lost)
2004 - John Kerry (lost)
2008 - Barack Obama (won)
2012 - Hillary Clinton (lost)

11 elections. 4 wins, 7 losses. I still have my McGovern and Kerry buttons.
