Well, knowing someone personally certainly hasn't stopped many (and I mean many!) obama supporters on this forum from judging palins parenting skills.....
she was a flake who put her own wishes ahead of her child's needs. ........, it is certainly nothing to CELEBRATE, as is being done by many here.

True. At least Palin is still around and people can ask her and Ann died 13 years ago.
His mother was free spirited and OPEN MINDED. This is why Senator Obama will bring the RIGHT change that this country needs, he doesn't judge and label people the way the McCain people would like. He probably has the most forgiving and understanding nature, but knows not how to let it get in the way of what is generally right and wrong. I just have a lot of respect for him!
You have to be completely open minded to understand his view on the world and what humanity and compassion truly is. If that is equivalent to what you people would like to call socialism, just because he cares about the well being of others and wants to uplift everyone, then all of you so called Christians and pro Americans need to do some soul searching!

I don't have any proof that Obama's mother dumped her kid or was sexually promiscuous. In fact, I know that she had a PhD in Anthropology and was doing FIELD WORK in Indonesia. I know that she was MARRIED twice.

If she was on welfare like he said before she would have been well taken care of and everything would have been paid for, now he lies and said she had insurance.

You know what? If my mother "treated" me to the life Obama's mother did, you wouldn't HAVE to say anything about her. I'd call her out myself for what she did to me! Young Obama was clearly left with scars and issues because of his parentage and upbringing, which he details in his books. I understand that he makes excuses for her as a means of coping but for others to glamorize it is just ridiculous.
She tied up with an ALREADY MARRIED Kenyan man, got pregnant and dumped. OK, she was young and made foolish choices. But, then, she tied up with another foreigner and moved her kid to a Third World, predominantly Muslim country. Understandably, he didn't like it there and asked to return to Hawaii to live with his grandparents.

Another great role model was his stepfather who supposedly lied in order to enroll him in a Muslim school. Barry did not want to leave the school, but his mother was an atheist and did not want him to become indoctrinated, that's when he was shipped off to his grandparents. As an agnostic in his adult life, in order to gain credibility in the black community, Father Pflager selected a church for him to join. We all kow how that turned out for him.
From what I have read, he was not with his mother when she was on her deathbed, nor did he attend her funeral. It seems to me that he and wife might have been able to assist his mother with medical bills.
I just find it so interesting that he has no family, no college friends...
