I still feel a bit clueless why anyone dislikes Steve Bannon. He isn't what most people seem to believe he is.
I've watched this full interview three times. Other than his sometimes strange devotion to Trump(which is mostly an act), and his unwavering optimism, which at times feels a bit delusional; He has a good grasp of history, and his policies would benefit the vast-majority of Americans.

Unwavering optimism? Take a look at some of his film-making. His films are far from optimistic. He's a war monger.
My thought exactly. Never mind the fact that Bannon's political ideology is too extreme to appeal to even the most conservative of conservatives. He is a big time alcoholic. I've seen him in a couple of TV interviews recently, and he looks like he has one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel.
How about Steve Scalise, who is getting a standing ovation in the House of Rep., and Bannon as V.P. ?
Scalise's qualifications would be what? Getting shot? Hopefully at some future point we return to the idea that a president should have a resume showing the experience, knowledge and ability to perform the duties of the office.
