On that we can agree. That's why I decided to vote for someone else besides either of these two.

But still, that doesn't mean that there weren't illegal shenanigans going on in the election.

In actuality, what you said makes it more likely, doesn't it?

I think John Kerry would have a better argument that fake news accounts cost him an election. Or Mitt Romney that specific misleading coverage (specifically letting someone else title his op-ed on bankruptcy/reorganization of the Big 3) cost him.

If Hillary had not run a ****ty campaign the 1-2% vote swing would not have mattered. Between the server, Goldman Sachs, her empirical nature and the fact that she had a quarter century of previous scandals and grudge matches she was too susceptible to this. The one thing that kept her in the game is that Trump was a truly crappy candidate/person. I was eating lunch with a Republican (and Trump voting) coworker on Monday who was lamenting that he was forced to choose between Trump and Clinton. He actually said he would have voted for a third Obama term- which would be his first Obama vote.

Any possible election interference needs to investigated and stopped.

Otherwise that is where the US will start it's downward spiral into chaos. Not next year, not next decade, but it would happen.

I'm not trying to be mellow dramatic, but it is the basis of our democracy and without it we will be subject to despots and everything else that goes with it.

You think our politicians such now? That would be nothing.

The fact that everyone is constantly searching for any excuse other than that for more than 16 months is the sign of mental illness.

At this rate we will be talking about how Hillary lost because of this or that for another 6 years. If/When a dem is in office it'll be the right doing the same thing.

IT IS OLD AND WORN OUT

You're both wrong as long as you believe any multi-national news conglomerate is telling you the truth.

That was tough, I'm exhausted. shwew
Those dollars spent are meaningless. What about PAC money and dark money?

Hillary was a real life real time scandal unfolding before our eyes. Comey confirmed all of it before he suggested not to prosecute when anyone else would have been going to prison for half of what she did.

Hillary's campaign tried to smear Trump with everything and anything they could dig up from years past.

I blame Obama for 8 years of worrisome policies and Hillary promising more of the same and worse.
The People were tired of it and desperately wanted a change.

Trump was a gamble but Hillary was a sure thing of lies, deceit and backdoor politics and thankfully enough people understood this.

Told my Liberal DIL, many people didn't vote for Trump they voted against Hillary. She does not understand how that is possible.
