California has the 5th largest economy in the world. How that must pain Trump supporters.
You all keep bragging about this without citing how CA ranks as the lowest out of all states for quality of life. All of those homeless people in CA are a direct result of the wanna be elites pricing them out of their homes. Eventually, those people are going to get it and stop supporting the left.
You can already see that the left is crumbling in CA as more and more cities say, "NO" to sanctuary status.
Your housing is too high, overall cost of living is too high for many people in the state, and all CA is doing is alienating people. Eventually people get tired of losing and being broke and start asking for answers. Telling them that you're going to hand them everything might work for awhile, until you have to figure out how it's going to get paid for. Those illegals aren't going to pay for it.
Speaking of illegals, they use up a lot of resources. That's odd considering that liberals pride themselves on being pro-environment...but they sit back and allow the environment to be destroyed so that they can get some extra votes. So you'll have a sanctuary state wiping out resources, you'll have so called "free stuff" that no one can pay for anymore, and because CA gave a hand out instead of a hand up to the poor, many people will have no incentive to work at all.
Frankly, I'd like to see CA collapse from its own stupidity.
Prezidont Cheeto Bonespurs was elected by the Electoral College.....actual votes will matter in the fall elections or did you forget that Hillary had 3 Million more votes?
It's a numbers game .
I didn't vote for Trump, nor will I ever. But guys like you say that like some kind of religious mantra.
If anything, it shows what a godawful candidate Hillary Clinton was. She ran against a historically bad candidate in Donald Trump and still only managed to outpoll the guy by 3,000,000 points. If a moderate GOP candidate such as Kasich had scored the nomination, she would have been stomped into a mudhole.
It will be interesting to see if Republican nominees in certain states and districts want Trump around to help galvanize support for their candidacy. In general during the 2014 midterms, Democratic contenders didn't want to be seen around Obama, even in places that had voted for him two years earlier - and they still ended up losing badly. Politicians are very self interested and generally have a pretty good idea whether or not appearing aligned with the president is going to help them with the electorate.
So if Trump is keeping busy traveling between campaign stops in Florida, Wisconsin, Nevada, Montana and Missouri (to name just some of the highly contested states) this fall, Republicans are probably confident they will be on track to expand their Senate majority. If he's staying cloistered in Mar-a-Lago, that would likely suggest a less favorable outcome for the party.

I think that is very true, but candidates who come across as "moderate" are generally not attractive to the primary electorates of either party, so the scenario where they end up getting nominated is unlikely. In my state of Georgia, our primaries are coming up in a couple weeks, and every piece of literature or advertisement for a Republican candidate declares they are a "strong conservative", "true conservative", "real conservative", etc. For the purpose of winning elections, this has been working out very well for the party for several years, so I doubt they will abandon this strategy any time soon. I haven't been seeing much of Democrats embracing the moniker of "moderate" either.
Well, if the Republicans keep or increase their majority in the House, they can thank Donald Trump, like it or not.
Going back to 1862, the average has been the party of the President losing 46 seats in the House and 2 seats in the Senate. It would be extremely rare if the Republicans didn't lose any seats in the House and if they manage to keep control of the House, you have to give Trump credit.
If you look at the Senate, of the 10 most likely Senators to lose that are up for this election cycle, 9 of the 10 are Democrats so I expect about a net gain of 4 Republican Senators.
So the most likely scenario is Republicans increasing power in the Senate and Democrats possibly having a slight control of the House.....so this will effectively stalemate the government which I personally consider a very good thing.
And the lowest quality of life in the US, the worst income inequality, the most homeless, how proud liberals must be.
North Dakota is ranked as the state with the highest quality of life in the US, how that must pain TDS sufferers.
Interestingly the ultra-blue state of Hawaii currently has the nation's lowest unemployment rate. Maybe because it is so expensive that no one can afford to be out of work there?

No, they can thank the DNC for not coming up with anything to run on. I've been noting this would happen since the election.
