Not every business venture is successful . Otherwise everyone would start or invest in businesses if there was a guarantee of success .
Trump have been very successful . Every billionaire has lawsuits going on .. even the liberal ones .

No thanks . Abolish ICE ? So she wants the child molestors and drug dealers that ICE current targets to be left alone ? I’m sure all the illegal alien criminals would love for her to win .

Ocasio-Cortez, 28, a former organizer for Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign and a one-time staffer for the late Sen. Ted Kennedy, ran on an unalloyed leftist progressive platform – calling for a "political revolution" that includes Medicare and higher education for all, gun control measures, an end to private prisons and the abolition of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE).

It's terrible news for the DNC but it's great news for the people. It's sad that someone like yourself would see someone wanting to look after the needs of the people as opposed to 100% the needs of the big banks as someone that is a nut job. That is something I can not grasp.

We have all sorts of law enforcement agencies that are supposed to be doing that. If they would quit harassing people over minor offenses (many of which aren't even offensives) they might be able to do a better job at what they are suppose to do.

By your very definition of her, she has run things. Unlike most of us that just run our mouths.

I have have yet to see anyone show a tie between Crowley and Big banks or any corruption/being bought for that matter.

At best, this is a self fulfilling argument of calling him corrupt because he is establishment and vice versa.

I never mentioned corrupt but......

You call it politics, I would call it corruption. It's the exact thing that Obama ran on (not accepting this kind of money) but reneged on. It's what many are demanding and are not going to vote for a candidate that does otherwise.

Banks’ Lobbyists Help in Drafting Financial Bills

But most of the Democrats on the committee, along with 31 Republicans, came to the industry's defense, including the seven freshmen Democrats — most of whom have started to receive donations this year from political action committees of Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo and other financial institutions, records show.

Six days after the vote, several freshmen Democrats were in New York to meet with bank executives, a tour organized by Representative Joe Crowley, who helps lead the House Democrats' fund-raising committee. The trip was planned before the votes, and was not a fundraiser, but it gave the lawmakers a chance to meet with Wall Street's elite.

I'm sure old Joe has a cushy Wall Street job waiting on him.

I dont call it politics, I call it listening to the business community affected by the legislation, which in this case would be the banking industry.

Thats not corruption.

I personally believe you can disagree on policy without one person in the discussion being "corrupt", No different than I view a far leftist getting donations from green energy or getting the input of them on green energy.

People are tired of the needs of the big banks being put first. It's not something that is going to go away. I don't really care how you want to define it.

The country obviously dodged a bullet by him not being speaker and we need to give Ms Cortez a thanks for that.
