He's against Universal Health Care. A big corporation guy. I'm not interested.

Talking about corporations and their needs is no better.

I doubt we get Universal Health Care in a single election. It will be a process.

And some votes are not going to be gained. Some people like to pretend - but would never vote for a Democrat. Some people are going to vote for Trump or a third party candidate because they think the world should beg for their vote. No thanks.

My governor Jay Inslee may run but I don't want him to; he's been an excellent governor for Washington state.

Which he isn't interested in.

What is the point in voting for a Republican that calls himself a Democrat?

He's not a Republican. And I don't think "some people" are going to vote for a Democrat. They just like to pretend. They aren't worth wasting time on.

My pick would be Jeff Merkley from Oregon. Smart, fairly young, has been pushing back on Trump.

Hey, I'm open. We likely won't see any announcements before the midterms but I'm looking forward to it.

Merkley and Sherrod Brown are two of the best ones who actually care and also are senators (candidates are usually either senators or governors).

There was very little that he did that isn't consider Republican. Bailed out business with hard working tax dollars. Extended tax cuts. Started wars for the benefit of Wall Street. Oversaw a large increase in the wealth gap of the country.

What exactly was there to support?

I would vote for Brown (know nothing about the other guy) but I saw where Brown unfortunately said he wasn't going to run.
