Clinton certainly wants to be president, but she is not likely to win the Democratic nomination again, let alone a general election against the man who already defeated her. She had difficulty winning the nomination in 2016 against a weak opposition field, and there will be a lot more competition in 2020.
If Democrats cannot capture the House in the midterm of a Republican president with net negative popularity, calls will intensify for Pelosi and other current leaders to step aside. The status quo isn't working as far as enabling the party to win enough elections in the key places.
Good post. I would note that HIllary pretty much had the nomination locked up before the primaries started but we'll have to wait and see. I'm not convinced Trump will even run in 2020 or win his primary if he does.

Hillary pretty much had the nomination locked up in early 2008 also.
Anyone with a memory remembers the media saying it would be Hillary vs Rudy in the 2008 general election.
It's posts like this that keep me convinced that most people who support Trump support him because of their racism and homophobia and their hatred towards anyone not white, heterosexual, and fundamentalist Christian. It's not the liberal media promoting that narrative. It's Trump supporters themselves.
When the process starts on the Senate confirmation for Supreme Court nominee, will the Democrats ask his views on abortion/gay rights more often than his views on UNION rights or other " working men's " issues?

I actually think a legitimate primary challenge is one of the least likely things to happen given Trump's popularity with his base. If Trump doesn't run again it will be for health reasons or because he simply decides not to. No Republican would dare take him on given his current level of popularity with his base.

How can the Democrats lay claim to "party of the working man" with their liberal views on ILLEGALS?
A reason for many " working men" seeing stagnant wages is the influx on ILLEGALS in the construction industry.
I have yet to see a Democrat side with a US CITIZEN working man over an ILLEGAL .
Couldn't these stagnant wages be also due to breaking up unions?
HEY-OH!
construction industry..........is what I referred to
