Apologies. You're right. I stand corrected. He's gone to full bootlicker mode.
Cruz and Trump agree on the issues more often than not, so I appreciate Cruz supporting Trump as a senator. There is enough chaos fueled by the democrats and liberal media in D.C., and Cruz isn't an attention hound like Schumer/Pelosi.

Cruz isn't a Senate leader like Schumer and McConnell, so Cruz doesn't get the media time that Schumer and Pelosi (or McConnell and Ryan) get. The leaders are often chosen to speak to the media.
Chuck Schumer is Senate Minority leader, which is like the Mitch McConnell role but for the Democrats. Pelosi is the House Minority leader which is like the Paul Ryan role but for the Democrats. Minority means their party isn't in control.
Do you mean Cedar Park, Tx? It's a suburb of Austin, a very liberal city. Not surprised.
Beto has visited all 254 counties in Texas and held 269 town halls s far - in both red and blue counties.
Ted Cruz is also on the road, doing RSVP events at local restaurants - mainly in red Texas.

Ted has a real job as a senator representing Texas in D.C., and his time is currently limited however, I'm sure that will change soon. I've attended several townhalls and phone conferences, and he doesn't avoid the hard questions.
I'm looking forward to the first debate between the two, if Beto decides to man up and participate.
