Just after Cruz jumps ahead in a poll, he falls back the next time. Ted has been ahead by more than 9 points or more 3 times before.
But overall, he has a 4.5 lead. And Beto has closed to 4 points or less 5 times now. It's still a horse race at 4 points.

Real Clear Politics always aggregates all the polls as they come in.The link shows each poll and the average.

Wil be interested in how well the debates are viewed...

21--Dallas--Domestic policy w/moderator--don't know who @ SMU
30--Houston--Domestic policy--town hall style--@ U of H
Oct 16--San Antonio--moderated, half-domestic/foreign policy @ a tv studio

I am surprised they are having them that far from Election Day--
The timing could help Beto if he makes a good showing and raises his profile but it could work against him if there are faux paus that Cruz can chip away at...

And how the Beto camp will deal with Willie Nelson concert
I emailed and suggested they do a web pay for view concert but likely that won't happen

Also urbanites and suburbanites are tired of being dictated by ruralites.

Houston is being disadvantaged by the GOP with all the development going to Austin and Dallas and the focus on the I-35 corridor.

I am certainly tired of Texas spending millions of dollars on issues trying to subvert the ACA or abortion access or other issues in court that they WON'T WIN--
Wasting millions of dollars that could be spent to benefit the actual people who LIVE in Texas
Rather that acting as campaign material for when they run for re-election
Abbott did this when he was AG and our current AG is doing the same thing with this challenge to the ACA...

Whatever happened to "Lawsuit Reform"? Abbott and now Paxton are spending taxpayer time and money filing frivolous lawsuits against the Federal Government and joining ones started by other GOP AGs. (No doubt that they are secretly Anti-American!)

Regarding the access to abortion, the Democrats could rally behind Savita Halappanavar's martyrdom in Ireland.

San Antonio - BLUE WAVE ? Voters elected political newcomer Pete Flores to the Texas Senate on Tuesday, flipping a Democratic district red for the first time in 139 years and bolstering Republicans’ supermajority in the chamber ahead of the November elections.

There’s some truth in that. Just look at the modern 6-lane interstate that runs from Austin to DALLAS and the crappy, outdated 4-lane one that runs from Houston to San Antonio.

Let's be honest here; I want Beto to win - but there is zero chance of it happening.

Cruz has an R next to his name. It's Texas - he wins.

You want I-10 to be a six lane highway? Is that really necessary?
