Please stay on topic. This thread isn't about the governors' races, Trump's taxes, or marijuana, etc.

That may be true.

But the fact remains Trump lost the House. Democrats, after two years, now have power again.

Nothing gets passed now without the Dems approval.

which is a good thing, btw. No party should ever control all 3 (WH, SENATE, HOUSE), dems or repubs.

Yeah that's one way of looking at it.

OR -- for the first time in history a Democratic might have won in a RED district ---- lol.

Sure lots of money spent....but Texas is changing -- Republicans will have to adapt.

Here in my district. Another VERY RED state -- not a whole lot of money spent by the Democratic candidate and yet the Republican candidate hasn't been declared a winner . She will by a small margin and we are now a pink district.....after having been a red district for a very long time.

These shifts can take time...........it isn't an issue for Trump -- he's short term -- in the long term this kind of shift is concerning for the RNC>

Definitely a huge win for dems. They can now check Donald Trump and all legislation will need democratic approval.

Nobody expected dems to win the Senate, but they did lose seats.

Interesting. Many networks haven’t called it yet either. Oh spoke too soon - they called it just now.

It's basically going as predicted, House for the Dems, Senate for the Reps.
