One thing Newsom needs to be constantly reminded of. He carried only a small sliver of geography along the coast. He won by 59% but 41% voted for Cox. Thats a lot of people.

I did notice that. Newsom won the coast and maybe bigcity like Los Angeles and Bay Area.

As much as I loathe Newsom and all he stands for, this is similar to the “Hillary won the poplar vote” argument.

It doesn’t matter where Cox won or how many people voted for him. Newsom and the Democratic legislators couldn’t care less. They won and that’s all they care about.

I don’t think they have any interest is working with anyone but the lobbyists that grease their palms. It would be the same if the Republicans won, just less socialist.

25% of Californians live in LA County carrying that much of the state is pretty useless. There's nothing in the Mojave!

Snake, coyote and jackrabbit populations don’t count for voting purposes.

Land doesn't vote. People do.

I never thought of Newsom as someone looking to "grease his palms" in a "socialist" manner. I don't even know what that means.

Could you please explain what you mean about greasing palms as a 'socialist.' Specifics or examples might help explain. What are you referring to?

Those arguments arent close to the same.

Hillary Clinton winning the popular vote actually means more people supported her.

Cox winning large geographical areas that no one lives in simply means the OP doesnt understand one vote one person, and thinks you should win based on how much land you own, or how much land your constituency covers.

hardly because those 7 counties would probably have more votes in a polling station together than the others.
