A friend of mine posted this elsewhere and some were surprised at how many completely dismissed Booker. He's the kind of candidate that the (D) establishment would slobber over but people are not going to support.
His ties to the Pharmaceutical industry is not going to be ignored.
Of this lot, if it turns out to be true, I'm guessing Harris will go the furthest if nothing comes out about her. Why? Rumors are there that Clinton's people want her and are busy manufacturing a Hillary 2.0 image for her.
The obvious "why" is good ol' identity politics: minority woman. She's also got some experience; legal and now legislative. She's smart. She's been able to get her name out there without it being attached to a lot of negativity. Unless you're a gun owner. Her antics in the Peruta case should disqualify her as an option for anyone who values our judicial process.
I would guess between all of them they couldn't come up with a thousand working brain cells.....they are the definition of proven losers......
I don't see people who routinely reply by calling people names as being supplied with brain cells very high up the ladder so it should be an even election.
Of the four mentioned in the subject header, Harris is the only one who, as of this writing, I think would have a shot at landing the nomination. But even then, I don't think she could pull it off.
I could actually see any of the four mentioned getting tapped for *VP*, however. Though of those four, Harris is the only one who I could see going from VP (presuming the administration did well) to POTUS.
If you're talking overall party, as of this moment I think the two strongest contenders for the top spot would be either Biden or O'Rourke. As for which of those two I think would have a better chance....hard to say. They both have charisma. Biden has more experience, and was a fairly popular VP, but he'll be up there in years by 2020. O'Rourke isn't as experienced (but given the idiot in the OO now, that's not much of a worry anymore), and he might appeal to younger voters more. Plus, given how tight he made his Senate race in a red state, it might be that he'd have more 'crossover' appeal than Biden would.

Actually, it's a pretty smart move. Those nicknames stuck even after the election and we see the name Pocahontas already associated with Warren.
