Except for the “young,” these sound like Trump supporters.

Joe Biden does not think the Democrat party convention will be held. Instead, maybe remote voting to affirm the nominee?

Perhaps Joe will record his acceptance speech in his basement on his webcam, if he goes on to win the nomination. Who knows?

In any case, the real purpose of these gatherings is to hold a big pep rally and to get everyone united and fired up for the contest ahead. If there is no convention, enthusiasm will probably have to be generated some other way.

Senile Joe is probably jumping at the opportunity to avoid having to give a major convention speech to an audience.

He might be, but what kind of a pep rally effect will that have? No bump coming out of the convention and no momentum.

The enthusiasm for 2020 is “Anybody but Trump!” Remember, Trump’s base has not grown. It’s just you died-in-the-wool types that think he’s doing a good job!

The election will absolutely be a referendum on Trump, regardless of who the D nominee is.

Of course the D candidate's specific issues will come into play in the campaign, but at this point I am in the anyone but Trump camp as well.

I will take a competent low energy president over this freak show.

That sounds like desperation, not enthusiasm.

Meanwhile, the party bosses are finally admitting Biden was never electable and throwing in Cuomo as the new not-Sanders.
