New York Mayor and former Presidential candidate Bill de Blasio observes, correctly, that current Democrat frontrunner Joe Biden has not been properly vetted yet:
De Blasio claims Biden hasn't been vetted

Mayor Bill de Blasio said today former Vice President Joe Biden has not been sufficiently vetted by voters, despite having been in national politics since 1973 and having run for president three times.

"Joe Biden hasn't been vetted. He was in a perfect position: Early front-runner and then everyone thought he wasn't gonna make it, turned their attention to [Mike Bloomberg], Bernie [Sanders], even to [Elizabeth] Warren for a while," the mayor told MSNBC's Joe Scarborough in an interview on "Morning Joe." "Joe Biden has a lot of issues he needs to speak to. If we don't deal with it now, in the family, and have that blunt discussion, Donald Trump will."
This is exactly correct and as I observed earlier, if Bernie intends to seriously contest this race with Biden from this point forward, this is the task he needs to immediately undertake. If Sanders takes it on, it could very well benefit Biden - if he can survive the vetting - by significantly immunizing Joe from these lines of attack during the general election. Of course the downside is that it may also be too much for Joe to deal with, and Bernie Sanders could then rally and perhaps even win the nomination while standing on the political bones of Joe Biden.

Of course de Blasio is a Sanders surrogate, so one has to wonder if this is him helping to tee up the vetting of Biden for Sanders to take swing at.

Amazing this thread continues, if such a thread would have been started about Republicans it would have been closed months, or years, ago.

Do you not remember Hillary Clinton and the very similar polling and predictions that we were lambasted with in tsunami type fashion by these same "experts" in 2016?

LOL. You guys crack me up.

Another failure to understand polls.

They are a snapshot in time, not a prediction.

Hillary was up double digits weeks before the election, that is not a prediction that she would win by double digits weeks in advance on election day. The final polls were very close to accurate on a national basis which we've been through before.

I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that we see Barr bust out a criminal investigation of the D candidate 11 days before the election since that worked last time.

Where are we now? Six months out? You might want to follow your own advice and realize that the numbers that you are quoting now are no more predictive than they were for Hillary Clinton at this point in the race in 2016.

And it is not just the polls, but all of your so-called "experts" as well. LOL. With "experts" like those, who needs imbeciles?

Remember 2016. You guys should have learned your lesson last tine around, but it does not appear that you did. Not at all.

Bernie Sanders will soldier on after losing four of six primary contests yesterday, including the state of Michigan.

Quote:
Sanders to press on against Biden after primary losses

Bernie Sanders is staying in the 2020 presidential race and planning to debate Joe Biden on Sunday despite a string of recent primary losses, according to a person with knowledge of Sanders’ plans ahead of a Wednesday press conference.
The Democrat left establishment leaders, including the heavily stacked Democrat left activist mass media, are pushing hard for Sanders to withdraw from the race. He apparently does not see Joe Biden as an adequate ambassador for the ideals that he and his supporters are deeply committed to promoting. So he is continuing his campaign, as is his right to do.

While Joe Biden currently appears to be well very positioned to win the nomination, with Bernie Sanders as his only significant remaining competition, it is still a long time to the convention and even longer to election day. It is no confident certainty that Joe Biden even makes to the convention, much less to election day, or beyond. He looks positively rickety.

So it appears to me that Bernie Sanders is smart to be patient and to stay in this race. Beyond that, stay tuned to the debate on Saturday, which the media is apparently doing all they can to try to protect and defend a very weak and vulnerable Joe Biden from any attacks by Bernie Sanders. How Bernie handles this will be very interesting indeed.
