Explain the Chinese spy, Sen. Feinstein

Well, this month we learned that Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) had a Chinese spy on her staff who worked for her for about 20 years, was listed as an “office director” on payroll records and served as her driver when she was in San Francisco, all while reporting to China’s Ministry of State Security through China’s San Francisco Consulate. The reaction of the mainstream media? Barely a peep.

Feinstein acknowledged the infiltration but played down its significance. “Five years ago the FBI informed me it had concerns that an administrative member of my California staff was potentially being sought out by the Chinese government to provide information,” Feinstein said in a statement — which means the breach took place while Feinstein was heading the Intelligence Committee.

The link you referenced said that person never had access to classified information, and he was fired immediately as soon as she was informed. He wasn’t actually a spy—was approached by China.

Do spies limit themselves to information that they have formally been given access to in your experience?

Diane Feinstein has admitted that he was a spy. So you cannot honestly pretend to be so naive that you do not understand.

What a clowns how orourke turned out to be. The fake name, flailing arms, standing on tables ACT was quickly seen through, it seems. He needs to crawl back under his rock...

Beta O'Rourke was a media creation. He was inflated like a balloon during his failed campaign for the Senate against Ted Cruz by gargantuan amounts of big money donations and the very aggressive support of the Democrat left mass media. Without these two sources of support, almost none of us would be anything more than superficially aware that this person is even alive.

O'Rourke is not anywhere close to ready to run for president. In all probability, he never will be. But he is a good 20-30 years away, even in a best case scenario. He is not a factor in this race. Neither are a number of the other candidates, either.

With so many choices available, Beto is not such a major consideration in the race. Bernie and Joe Biden aren't either.

All we are seeing now is the attraction any new entry in the race naturally brings when someone announces. I believe the race is completely wide open and will be throughout the rest of this year.

So trying to predict who will be the nominee is like trying to catch the latest trial balloon that is floating into some mighty strong air currents.

Maybe Kirsten Gillibrand will bust a move.

Any of them could bust a move.
There are enough already who already know what they have to do to stay in, so I expect we will hear a lot more from most of them as the summer progresses.

I'd rather not picture that.

There are multiple legitimate reasons to be skeptical of most of the polls.

lol, no.

4 more years of Trump is what frightens me. But I can't force other people to make he right choice in the Democratic primary. So if Trump is president until 2024, oh well. I did what I could to prevent it.
