I don't think he has much of a chance because Democrats don't want to run a white male...perhaps never again.

The old Oregon Territory, excluding Idaho, of course, has always had the best ideas and provided an excellent way of life for its people. We could form an independent republic and thrive, which couldn't happen anywhere else in the country. But we'd much rather stay and help the rest find their way.

My prediction is Kamala Harris will be the Dem nominee. Inslee would be a good VP choice for her...he would balance the ticket demographically. The only problem is it would be two west coasters running together from two states the Democrats will win no matter what.

See France for what happens when you try to cut old tech before forcing up new tech.

Don’t know much about him. Think he will get lost in the shuffle
He doesn't have a national presence but then Bernie didn't until he did. I wouldn't underestimate the money of the west coast climate change crowd and the people that truly believe climate change is the #1 issue in the world to get behind a candidate, could be Inslee, to make a serious run at winning the democrat primary. I don't think he would have a shot against Trump but you never know.

Islee was our Congressman and now our Governor, I respect him as a politician but disagree with him on many issues politically. If he doesn't get money behind him early and/or get early traction, he'll just fall by the way side.

Yeah, I forgot about that...the racism and sexism against a white male in the Democrat Party should prevent his election unless he goes full bore and says he want to "Final Solution" all white males (unless gay, transgendered or otherwise confused about which bathroom to use)

While campaigning in 2012, Inslee said he would veto any new taxes. Yet he has tried to raise taxes every single year of his administration. In 2018 the Cato Institute ranked Inslee the worst governor in the country on tax and spending policies, a full 7 points lower than the second worst governor, Kate Brown of Oregon. https://www.cato.org/publications/wh...nors-2018#full

Although it has failed in the legislature, and been rejected by voters twice, Inslee is still trying to force through a carbon tax. He tweeted this gem last January:
Quote:
We have just 59 days to do our part to save our children from an endless cycle of crop-killing droughts one year, and rivers spilling their banks the next. To save salmon from dying in ever warming rivers, and our forests from being reduced to plumes of ash.
Oddly, 359 days later, the impending doom still has yet to appear.

Just another idiot who flunked high school chemistry.....

As the source of available carbon in the carbon cycle, atmospheric carbon dioxide CO2 is the primary carbon source for life on Earth and its concentration in Earth's pre-industrial atmosphere since late in the Precambrian has been regulated by photosynthetic organisms and geological phenomena. Plants, algae and cyanobacteria use light energy to photosynthesize carbohydrate from carbon dioxide and water, with OXYGEN produced as a waste product.

We certainly should worry about all those OXYGEN producers.......
