Minnesota itself as a whole isn't really shifting that much, however parts of the state are shifting different directions. The traditionally Democratic rural portions of the state are shifting Republican, the historically Republican suburban portions of the state are shifting Democratic.

In the last six months, we have seen prominent Dems openly justify infanticide, refer to ICE agents as Nazis, advocate for the end to medical insurance, flip on securing the border, call it "immoral" to be a billionaire, apologize for "cicgender privilege," outright and obviously lie about a Supreme Court nominee, suggest a 70% tax on high income earners, and continue to push an increasingly foolish Russia investigation, which is really an investigation of nothing at all.
Who do these people think that their constituency is going to be outside of New York and California?
And they want to abolish the Electoral College so New York, and California dictate to the ENTIRE country. You will be forced to implement their loony policy, taxes, and more oppressive government.

No, but if you actually think that a State Senate Race is statewide, as you stated earlier and never corrected, you are either a blithering idiot or a foreigner who is unfamiliar with American politics.
Both of those possibilities are more probable than a statement from an American engineer, as you claim to be.
