Just because she uses it to pay the bills does not mean she isn't being paid. I have no special "wants" that are solely for my use, I bought HER a car (I don't want one.), computer parts, phone, TV, VCR, etc. When and if she leaves, they are ALL hers to keep.
Sounds like a business arrangement.

Sounds more like a passive aggressive control freak with a live-in maid among other professions.

whatever works...it DOES work after all. None of the girlfriends I have had worked. Most of them lived with others, but one was on welfare.

For Obama: he'll need a Southern white guy with loads of military credentials. Maybe Wes Clark or Jim Webb.

For McCain: another Southerner, but McCain's background makes the military angle unimportant for his VP choice. Maybe Lindsay Graham from S Carolina or Jim Crist from Florida.

Southern white guy? To hell with the south. I don't see Obama tainting his ticket by putting such a guy on the ticket. If he can get someone from the East or the Midwest, it will uphold his very high standards. Even Richardson would do. Kerry made this mistake in '04, picking the southern white guy in Edwards expecting the southerners to change their stripes. Absolutely not. The south will for the most part go republican, true to their anti-black agenda. Obama merely needs to convince the rest of the nation.

McCain has no chance to win, and it really doesn't matter who he picks.

I think that if any of the three (and you too, Ron Paul!) could get Colin Powell on the ticket as VP they would win, and win with a large majority of votes throughout the states. Colin Powell would give Obama and Clinton the international/military experience they lack and at the same time could soften McCains and make him more palatable to both liberals and conservatives. And if Ron Paul could get him, he could actually go all the way

Frankly, I know I would feel better about any of the three winning if Colin Powell was VP....
Colin Powell is a has-been. He will always be associated with Bush and lying to the UN about WMDs in Iraq that weren't there. He found out later that he was duped, yet he hasn't expressed outrage at the betrayal. Where is the passion, the outrage, the defiance at this ridiculous war? The man appears to be a shell of his former self, having lost his backbone after being continually overridden and disregarded by Rumsfeld and Cheney while he was on the administration. He had health problems as a result and is now nothing more than a shadow. He also is too mechanical and uninspiring.

Obama can do much better than Powell. Hillary is not a factor. Powell cannot help McCain.

Hilarious. I was actually under the impression that people like this really only existed on Wife Swap.
I'm genuinely embarassed for you, but at least I now know to disregard all your posts from now on.
Someone with such a backward, sexist attitude is unlikely to have anything of any value to add to a discussion.
