I'm starting to think there's an ulterior motive for these candidates who don't appear to have a chance in hell....well, I guess Obama was in that category early on.....but do these candidates get secondary gain by running for POTUS? Are they more likely to be re-elected in their home states in their next elections for Senate/Congress/Gov if they drop out from their POTUS candidacy?
