You’re right. I was going to make a disclaimer about Bernie, as he does have new ideas. Still, though, I think he’s in it for himself completely. I don’t trust his motives, and I feel very strongly that he should’ve sat out this election. I’m very anti-Bernie.

I would make sure I liked the chosen VP in case they ended up being president. Age doesn’t matter to me.

When I look to vote I look at experience, education, military experience, and political views.

Prefer a candidate who was in the military or currently a Nurse/PA/Doctor or both of these.

Has some political experience at the State or Federal level. Could be replaced by leadership experience as a Warrant Officer or Officer in the uniformed services.

Fanily or own personal experience as a farmer.

As terms of political views a Left leaning Republican, Left Leaning Libertarian, Right Leaning Democrat, or a Centrist. This is the top priority when it comes time to Vote. Then at least one of the other criteria mentioned above.

It's something to consider, but it's not an absolute.

As long as they are at least 35, I'm good with it. I'm far more interested in policies than age.

You said in a prior post here on C-D that Biden is too old. Here's that post:

Agreed.

Experience and knowledge are key factors when considering someone for the position of POTUS.

The candidates with more experience are usually older.

Of course, they still have to have command of their faculties and cannot be senile.

Care about the person running more than age. I know people and history is full of people doing fantastic stuff in their 70's and well after. Depends on the person.
