Iowa is only six months away. In truth November of this year is the right time to focus. That is the point where candidates ether face the inevitable or supporters start to look at which of their potential candidates are viable enough to merit a vote.

For the time being, I think Sanders vs Warren is the big story (and legitimate) story because they want to use the same lane on the highway. So if one shows more upside or greater support I think the $/poll numbers can start to lift one and leave the other. At the moment, Warren seems to be the person with momentum.

Iowa doesn't really matter. The race gets serious Feb 29 with the South Carolina primary -- that will tell us how strong Biden's support is among black delegates. Then three days later its March 3 Super Tuesday with California, Texas, NC, Virginia and Minnesota. The nomination could be decided on March 4.

The Biden vs Harris tug of war for votes and delegates in South Carolina and California will be huge.
