So far Biden still has the upper hand. His firewall is going to be South Carolina and California. In SC, older black voters are very loyal to Clinton and Obama, and see Biden as an extension or continuation of those familiar centrists. In California there are a lot of moderate Dems who are also loyal to Clinton/Obama -- Harris has an uphill battle to carry her hometown state, IMHO.

If Sanders/Warren/Harris are all on the ballot in those two states, it will split the Prog vote and give Biden the edge.

As much as I'd like for a progressive to win the nomination I have to be realistic. It's going to take a full collapse by Biden to make that possible -- it's not far-fetched, Biden has done full faceplants in elections before. We'll see.

Kamala Harris has been a total failure at any job she was given. She loves to play the race card. I am sick and tired of hearing blacks who hold good jobs or public office crying the blue about being black.

Not sure why people keep thinking Biden is a good candidate. He is past his time.

Pocahontas is polling ahead of Harris & Biden in California.

Too bad that CA isn't a winner take all state on delegates. That would make it a far more interesting race.

1)Biden; established, middle class President

2)Gabbard; in the military with a strong foreign policy plan to reevaluate the mission in all our global conflicts.

Not saying he's my personal favorite, but I just have this nagging feeling that Buttigieg will eventually come out on top. He raises big $$$ ($25 million in 3 months even as a little known mayor), he's LGBT, he's a relentless self-promoter (in a more subtle way than Trump but still he is nonetheless, with the whole "I'm a gay millennial Ivy league-educated veteran from the midwest" "I check all the boxes" thing), and he seems to have no skeletons to hide. I can easily see the DNC lining up behind him as the Harris and Biden drama continues

If Buttigieg comes out on top, Trump will stuff him in the wood-chipper. Buttigieg is a nice guy but voters pick show men.
