California: No. 1 economy in the USA. No. 5 in the world. No. 1 in USA manufacturing.

Red states are the slackers. Some of them take in more federal dollars than they pay in. They whine and complain about Big Federal government but they aren't shy about putting their palms up for federal spending dollars.

Like that wall that Mexico was going to pay for? And that affordable healthcare plan that was going to cover everyone? And the government was going to pay for?

And what about that tax cut for the middle class that Trump promised just prior to the 2018 elections?

Where IS all the free stuff Dump promised?

Eventually, the "shoe" must drop. Kamala Harris is NOT a "natural born citizen," which is a requirement to be eligible for President, according to the Constitution. And what is a "natural born citizen?" Well, if you do your research, you will find that it is simply one who is the child of two citizen parents. Kamala's parents were not citizens. She is an "anchor baby." Further, she spent most of her formative years in Canada, where her mother took her after the divorce.

She also lied about being one of the first to be "bussed" in CA. But (and my wife is a native San Diegan) in CA the public schools have not been segregated since 1943. Harris would have been six years old in 1970 when she started school (she was born in October, so she would have started at six, not five). This is long after "bussing" (which was in the late 50's, or early 60's at the latest).

Which is why we left in 1993. My wife is a native San Diegan, and I spent 30 years there. It wasn't nearly as bad when we left as it is today. But Willy Brown (Kamala's lover) was Speaker, and the Democrats had a tight control of everything. The handwriting was on the wall. Taxes were through the roof and going higher.

Today, there is no affordable housing being built, largely because there is no profit. It costs too much to meet the environmental regs, the land is expensive, and it just doesn't pay to build the nice little tract homes like we bought in 1972, with $200 down, in a newly developing neighborhood near Mira Mar.

^^^ Birtherism 2.0 ^^^

Birtherism was racist against Obama and it's racist against Kamala.

It is a cesspool. It was a great state once but not anymore.

Late 60's in Berkely where she grew up, and of course the birther racist spew continues.... If you were BORN here you are a Natural Born Citizen, your parents do not have to be citizens for you to be a Natural Born Citizen.

Yang - 2
Others / Undecided - 17

Uh....it's also her state, so the fact that she's polling at a paltry 23% in that field of candidates in CA, and only 2 percentage points ahead of Biden, is woefully unimpressive.

Better than banks foreclosing on your house because you can't pay both the mortgage and the medical bills. And Lord forbid if you're also footing most of the bill for your child's college education besides.

Besides, the 1% and especially the 1% of the 1% have been de facto given free stuff for decades. Tax loopholes that allowed Warren Buffet to pay a lower percentage of his income to Uncle Sam than did his administrative assistant.

We've already had class warfare, and the rich won!!
