He has no link. There were no polls showing Bishop down 17 points. It is a lie being repeated over and over by the right wingers. And as usual, the more they repeat the lie the more they believe it.

The polls since the beginning of the year showed:
McCready +2
McCready +5
Bishop +1
McCready +3

That's it.

Bishop still won.

And conservatives still have much work left to do. Polls mean nothing.

I guess the OP is "extremely tired" after cleaning up the hurricane damage in Alabama!

This shows again what one of those pollsters tweeted recently. She said the magic number these days for the democratic side in an election that is expected to be somewhat close is 6. In that you want to see most prep polling have them up 6 or more. If it doesn’t they’ll lose around 70-80% of the time.

I am not sure why Trump lies that much. It's almost crazy. If you simply ask him what he had in his breakfast I can almost guarantee - he'll lie about that too.

Uh...It was 14 points (within the margin of error ):

More recently, it was 4 points, with Macready sniffing, "If it's a [statistical] tie, that means we're up by 12 points." I guess not lol. Regardless, it was a bellwether. According to everyone.

Meanwhile, the CNN political panel was over-the-moon at the results:
