The Huffington Post has uncovered a tape of Hillary telling some fundraisers at a private meeting that she hates the Netroots and Democratic activists, especially MoveOn. Strange because on of the reasons MoveOn was originally created was to help her husband survive impeachment.

Insulting activists and the progressive wing within your own party is never a good idea. However considering she has been the queen of RW talking points it's hardly a shock. What a traitor to the party she has become.

MoveOn responded to Clinton's unwarranted trashing this afternoon:

"MoveOn is 3.2 million reliable voters and volunteers who are an important part of any winning Democratic coalition in November. They deserve better than to be dismissed using Republican talking points."

Whatever you think of it, this can only hurt her within the party.

LOL, me, too! MoveOn is a far lefty tool and certainly doesn't appeal to the majority of people.

As for Hillary being called a "traitor to the party" and such, I'm GLAD she's not afraid to distance herself from the likes of MoveOn. Hello, she's a CENTRIST and that's why she appeals to folks like myself who are also CENTRISTS. The lefties in the Dem. Party are falling all over themselves to climb onto the Obama bandwagon and tell Hillary to get lost, so why on Earth should Hillary show some deep reverence for the "Party?"

The "Party" has made it quite clear they want to swing wildly to the Far Left after all that the moderates have done to make it palatable to a broader range of people. That's fine -- but they can't expect the rest of us to support them.

As I recall, it was not that long ago that she told moveon.org that she loved them!

Moveon.org is not a far lefty tool. They oppose the war in Iraq. So do lots of Democrats. That is really the only issue they talk much about.

Look at Moveon's record and see how insignificant they've been. All of their presidential candidates have failed. So, if one is looking toward the General Election, it would be best to distance themselves from Moveon.

The left wingers want to hijack the Democratic Party the way the neo-cons have hijacked the Republican Party.

A lot of the members of the Democratic party are not of the dailykos, moveon, and huffintingpost variety. Most are your average hard working people who are trying to make a decent living, and are not really concerned about the latest course of the ultra liberal wing of the party.

Huffington, a former neo-con, has all of a sudden banded with the left wingers to destroy the Democratic party. I don't trust her one bit. How can one change from being a neo-con to the other extreme end of the political spectrum? Call me a conspiracy theorist, for some reason, I can't shake this feeling that she is probably popping up the champagne with her neo-con friends and laughing at the expense of the Democratic party.

It is the Ultra liberal wing of the party that wants to destroy the party.

MoveOn was created to "move on" from the Clinton witchtrials. They held an online election to let the people decide who MoveOn should endorse and Obama won.

Huffington went to the other team just as her ex husband did.
