The polls closed at 8 p.m. today in the special election to fill the seat left vacant when ex-Rep. Katie Hill resigned from Congress last fall.

You can check the latest official totals here on the Secretary of State's website.

Seems like a margin too great for the usual Democrat fraud antics in California. We'll find out, but it looks like the GOP has flipped a seat in California for the first time since 1998.

If California keeps people on lockdown for 3 months like they're doing in LA, there are going to be a lot of California seats flipping in November.

It would be nice if they could flip nasty Nancy -- right into San Francisco bay. She can take Adam Schiff along with her.

There is NOTHING remotely progressive/liberal/moderate about that map. Be for real- Simi Valley, home of the cops that savagely beat Rodney King, the 14 Corridor. The fact that a Dem won in that district is the real shocker.

I like the early results, but there is still a lot of vote left (just under 25%) for the Democrats to steal! So I'm hopeful, but we'll see what happens.

The question I have is if the GOP does well with mail in balloting in the age of covid, will leftists somehow change to be against it?
