Just to assist with the facts please find a link to the Washington Post archive article on the Clinton October 11, 2007 position on the Michigan primary votes counting. Read the third paragraph and judge for yourself.

You are wasting your time - apparently to Hillary supporters that stance needs to be reversed since their candidate is behind. Lord knows what is coming next, something like their family has won more votes than any other family in US history...

Whatever happened to "every vote counts?" Perhaps the new democratic cry can be; "every vote counts except those made before feb 5 unless you vote in Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire and South Carolina where they then count."

Now we can agree. The Democrats blew this one. They never thought it would still be going and now there is nothing they can do to make it right without creating another wrong. It is there lack of anticipation and thinking things through that may eventually haunt them with the electorate. There is no way they can change the rules at this point without exposing themselves for their complaints about the 1990 election results. I just wish someone would get a handle on the real crisis we face with commodities and the potential for a global meltdown in multiple areas. They are all saying things that they can't and won't do because in real implementation terms they would be a disaster. They are all proving the falling relevance of the President as exemplified by our current one. We look to the appointed leadership at the Fed, Treasury, Pentagon along with a few key congressional leaders for our real direction. My real question is who are you going to appoint who knows what they are doing because none of the three really understand the dimensions of the problems we face. Yes we are better off then we were eight years ago but many of us are not as well off as we were two years ago. Then again many of us are.

Give me a break. That is a question that the voters in MI and FL will have to ask their State. This is the States fault they broke the rules. Besides these delegates will be seated just not the way Hillary will want them to be. The nominee will be selected shortly after the primaries are over. Hopefully these States that break the rules will step back in line the next time. Rules are in place to be followed isn't that what every parent in MI and FL teach their children.

To TuborgP great post but everyone but the Hillary supporters know this already.

As every teacher knows the good students only need to be told the rules one time. The naughty ones along with the slow learners need to be constantly reminded of the rules.

You've got that right. Like I said some of those delegates will be counted and they will get to go to the Convention and party will all the others. I hope Hillary won't be too depression over her pending fraud case.

Thankfully the country isn't filled with followers but have some such as Rosa Parks who speak up and don't follow rules that are inherently unfair and un-American.

The right and privilege of an American citizen to cast a vote and have it counted, and a state's right to collectively choose when it desires to hold its election is infinitely greater than any party bureaucrat's declaration. To hide behind numbers that discount honest citizen's votes is disgraceful. That is Obama's hope and change for America.

If the shoe was on the other foot for Hillary she would be fighting tooth and nail to stand by the rules. Like I said they will be counted but maybe not the way Hill wants them to be so what is the big deal.

If this was Obama we would have riots in the streets with the wacko followers he has.

Hillary felt the people have a voice and they should be counted, the DNC has no right to not count the votes already done, it is unconstitutional and should be stopped by the supreme court.

People of Florida and Michigan should be going crazy.

And remember, no dem can win the WH without both of those states and once the DNC screws them over you will see those votes head over to McCain.

Obama never felt like the voters in Florida and Michigan should be counted.
And I thought he was a leader?? He should be outragged, but then again he LOST both states and of course wont say a word and goes along with screwing over of the people.

Florida and Michigan should be counted totally for Clinton and the supers should note that Obama is toast. He simply cannot win the important votes needed to win the WH.
