I simply cannot understand why, in light of the downfall of the country under Bush's leadership; somone would vote for McCain. Now, I certainly understand and respect individuals right to vote for whomever they choose. But, for the life of me; I just cannot understand why anyone would vote for a man who vowed to continue this country on it's current course...downhill.

Can someone please explain the thinking of such supporters of this McCain, because logically, it just doesn't make sense.

A vote for McCain, Clinton, or Obama is a vote for the continued decline of America...let's call them McClintama.

I don't think he will. He doesn't overly excite me but I'm warming up to him and will likely vote for him.

If you are working for the imperialists and war profiteers I think you would vote for McCain. If you are not personally profiting from this administration I suggest you vote for Obama.

Thanks for the tip, I was wondering what the decision point should be.

I feel sorry for anyone that plans on getting up that Tuesday Nov. 5th and casting a vote for John McCain.

There are many things in this country that do not make sense. Why we tolerated GW Bush for 8 years for one. I say lets outsource the job like the rest of corporate America, definitly would be cheaper!. Lets bring back American diplomacy instead of sending of a generation of young people to prove a point. We are making more international enemies every day, sure they got nukes, but so do we. Lets just nuke every country that has them so we can conmtinue to call ourselves " Proud to be American ".

There is a fine line between being a bully and being strong. I don't want to see us swing too far to the Jimmy Carter days of a weak America nor do I want to see more "I'm the decider" crap either.
I don't trust Obama, I think he's too liberal on many issues, and many hard core conservatives seem to dislike McCain because they think he's too liberal for the religious fundamentalists and the neo-cons. That does swing McCain around to my vote (thus far) unless Obama shows me something new and exciting.

McCain and Hillary support that cynical gas tax moratorium as a means of bribing short-sighted voters. Obama is the only one who doesn't support it, and rightly.

The average driver would save 18.5 cents a gallon (until September that is), plus there'll be an immediate jump in demand for gas (assuming underlying gas costs don't continue to rise).

Most disturbingly, that federal tax pays to maintain/repair the transportation infrastructure!

It's a cynical, irresponsible trick - you know McCain and Hillary both know it's nothing but a bribe. Don't fall for it, and don't support candidates who show so little respect for you.

I thnik who ever gets to be president will have little to do with teh declibne or rise of this coubtry. The problems are much buigger that that and always have been. It is just that some con themselves into believeing that the right president can change THEIR lifes.
