I'm fed up with reading MSM opinion pieces that are presented as "news articles". How is it that editors don't edit this stuff? I know the MSM is full-on for the libbies, but really, is there no such thing as actual journalism anymore? Here's an example:

MACON, Ga. (AP) — Backed into a corner and facing financial strains, President Donald Trump went after his opponent’s family and defended his own struggle to contain the pandemic as he fought to energize his sagging reelection bid in the nation’s Sun Belt. With Election Day looming, Democrat Joe Biden pushed to keep voters focused on health care in the Midwest.

Trump campaigned ’Friday in Florida and Georgia, neighboring states he carried four years ago and must win again to extend his presidency. His decision to devote Friday evening’s prime-time slot to Georgia in particular highlighted the serious nature of his challenge: Far from his original plan to expand into Democratic-leaning states, he is laboring to stave off a defeat of major proportions.

I added the bold...those parts are opinions/commentary, not facts. And what does the last sentence in the first paragraph about Joe Biden have to do with this article about Trump's campaigning in the Sun Belt? Not a damn thing.

If I were the editor, I would re-write those 2 paragraphs to read as follows:

MACON, Ga. -- President Donald Trump went after his opponent’s family and defended his administration's fight to contain the pandemic as he aimed to energize his reelection bid in the nation’s Sun Belt.

Trump campaigned Friday in Florida and Georgia, neighboring states he carried four years ago and are considered "must wins" again to extend his presidency. His decision to devote Friday evening’s prime-time slot to Georgia in particular highlighted the serious nature of his challenge in these Democratic-leaning states.

I know this is long, and I don't expect much in the way of answers, but I'm so tired of this constant gaslighting by the press that I just had to vent.

AP had turned this way even before Trump. Really unprofessional. Progressives have taken over the media. All they care about is spreading propaganda. And a lot of them are too stupid to understand that is what they are doing.

Are you tired of when Fox News does the same thing? Tucker Carlson's legal team's defense for him was that he's so absurd, no one should take him seriously.

While MSM has a left leaning bias, they rate as extremely trustworthy in terms of factual reporting.
