Democrats won seats in the 1998 midterms. People said they didn't care and punished the Republicans for the impeachment.

The only thing that I pay attention to is the trends.

Of course that assumes they aren't playing around with their assumptions and manipulations.

In any event, the thread picks one poll when 2 others tell a different story. So clearly you only pay attention to polls that support your narrative.

If I had to guess is it because the media is not making a stink about it like they would if it were the Republican involved in a scandal.

Heck what Republicans could have survived the KKK/blackface photo of Northam(D), or the Ellison (D) abuse scandal's?

Serious question!

The affairs by themselves don't hurt him much.

Its:
1) campaigning as a family man; and
2) the stupidity of doing all this while running for office.

Being caught stupid and hypocritical is much worse for electability than being caught in the wrong bed.

I used to live there. The larger cities have been invaded by blue state people looking to escape. Mostly NY but also CA, IL, the Northeast, and even WA and OR. They’re voting for democrats. The quality of life is already changing negatively, drastically fast now. It was building up for over 20 years and now on high speed. People don’t learn.

A black jogger was just lynched in Georgia. And it is 2020. A few years back in South Carolina, an unarmed man was killed while running away from police who did not bother to administer any help to the man after he shot him. Let's not forget about that young man that shot up that church in South Carolina during a bible study.

I'm sure those white people really felt in danger both of those times. "Look! A black man! In Georgia/South Carolina! We need to do something about this!" Oh, I know - how about we get the shooter a hamburger, since we feel bad for him.

Sadly, it appears you are confused.

As for your "bigoted" comment:

Tell me what is worse - someone being intolerant of others' opinions or someone being intolerant of other people?

The supposed "Progressive South" has the opinion that African Americans and homosexuals are lesser people. Remember when that county clerk refused to sign gay marriage certificates? And lots of Southerners rallied around her. I suppose it is their opinion that it is ok to be intolerant of others. Sounds far worse than a bigot.
