Pick your issue--senility, pedophilia, profiteering, selling out America, being on the wrong side of past racial issues...

The question is simple. Will the media now discover what a dirt ball the guy is now that Trump is (presumably) gone and there is the very real possibility of a Harris presidency?

The Media are in this for ratings. Truth be told DJT was a gift from heaven in terms of his day-day sparring with the Press and his tweets. When he is gone they will do whatever it takes to fill that hole, and Biden has forty years of skeletons rattling in closets around the world. Like rats trapped in a barrel, watch the Press turn on him.

False premise.

The poll necessarily assumes Joe Biden would be as corrupt and incompetent as Donald Trump has been.

Since that is not the case, the media can be as hard as ever on Biden and he still will not generate as much bad press (comparatively speaking) as Trump. The bad press starts with the subject: give them some egregious thing to report, and they will report it. Don't give them some Trump-like disgraceful thing to report, and they won't have anything to report on.

Simple.

Just the facts, if the Truth bothers you no one cares.

Actually, you didn't state a single fact.

What drove the media - and me - up the wall with Trump was the daily nonstop lying and gaslighting about EVERYTHING - beginning with the size of his inauguration crowd - exacerbated with the never-ending namecalling, paranoia and baseless conspiracy theories.

And, let's not forget about birtherism - which was done solely to get attention. And he admitted there was nothing there. But, con man that he is, he prolonged it as long as it worked for him.

The lying, the name-calling, the abuse of power, installing a Barr as his own personal atty instead of an AG there to protect the interests of the citizens.

The list is endless. The man was unfit for office the day he was born. The damage, hate and divisiveness he's inflicted on this country and everyone around him. He is a destroyer.

Good riddance.

I agree he is an objectionable character, but to be fair, the elements you have highlighted here are just as prevalent from the Dems. It is the game unfortunately.

People on both sides like to pretend it isn't. The very definition of gaslighting.

And, I'll add to the foregoing:

Thanks, Trump, you jackass.
