Joe Biden extents his winning streak to 28 days, 28 days of non-stop winning. Of course for every winner there has to be a loser, but we won't mention Diaper Don by name.

Gentleman Joe will be winning even more if he names Sally Yates to head an important position. The way she was ignored by the White House Imposter and his goons was outrageous.

Article on the event in USA Today has an important paragraph:
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...me/6462445002/
Quote:
Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs on Monday certified the state's results, with Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey, Attorney General Mark Brnovich and Supreme Court Chief Justice Robert Brutinel serving as witnesses.
Hobbs is a democrat, but both Ducey and Brnovich are republicans, and Brutinel was appointed by republican governor Jan Brewer in 2010 and is himself a republican.

So you can be sure these are 3 more republicans who are going to be called 'traitors' and 'treasonous' by the Trumpies, and receive threats by some of them as well.

Most Arizonans agree with Gov. Ducey that Arizona's election system is a point of pride. We have been doing mail in voting for over 25 years and countless elections from bonds to presidential ones have been carried out with transparency and fairly. Not until this year has anyone challenged the honesty and dedication of our elections officials, workers and volunteers. It failed for good reason.

I think the Arizona Republicans are more impervious to Trumps tantrums and threats than almost any other set of Republicans since they all scored a higher percentage of votes than Trump. Rs literally swept almost everything in the state except the top to races. It was basically a message from moderates Rs and independents that they will vote R as long as those folks keep it between the lines.

It will be interesting to see where the state lands in 2020 (statewide officers and Kelly are back on the ballot) and 2024. Was this a rejection of Trump or is the state inching left?

Also AZ is one of the few states where you can recall the governor and legislators we recalled that wacko Russell Pearce a few years ago.

So if they were to try to disfranchise the voters of AZ they would be recalled by AZ voters I'm sure.

That's a bit of an overstatement. There was no change in the state House majority/minority and maybe one more seat went D in the Senate (don't know but at one point the D was ahead). At the national level all the incumbents were re-elected and it remains 5-4 Dem. So it was a draw on the undercard. Legal weed and a big tax increase on the wealthy both won over strong Republican opposition. And Sheriff Joe's crony was defeated by Dem incumbent. It was not a great night for Dems though and probably less than they expected.

It's some of both. Arizona is going to be a swing state for some time to come.

Still, big thumbs up to AZ! I think Florida would have flipped for Biden if it hadn't been for the cuban population who believe in that ridiculous dems = socialism nonsense.
