Looks like a certain demographic of Dems don't want him in the primaries nor the GE.

Liberal Rapture

Rasmussen Reports™: The most comprehensive public opinion coverage ever provided for a presidential election. (http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_20082/2008_presidential_election/daily_presidential_tracking_poll - broken link)

Hopefully readers can and will track this thought in Rasmussen reports and see how this plays out with data.

So Im thinking of sending some party trays to Ron Paul's convention? Maybe sandwiches and veggies?

Seriously,
Hillary and her legions will come around, most of them anyway, only the most vociferous such as those on CD wont.

But that's okay,
When the focus shifts from Hillary to John McCain, that will change everything.

As we both know from other thread discussions assertions that use the word evidence without providing the actual data to support the assertion are suspect. Hopefully some folks in here will access the available on going and validated polling services to see what their data is showing. On a note that may cause some Clinton supporters concern.

Rasmussen is no longer going to be tracking the Democratic Primary. For the reason sgiven in the article they have reached the conclusion the nominee will be Obama. This is unfortunate for Clinton because it will not allow her to use new Rasmussen data to convince the Super Delegates that the party loyal are switching to her. I hope her supporters don't blame the Illinois Senator for the Rasmussen decision.

It wil change everything. As Obama has left McCain alone for the most part McCain has also left Obama alone.

It will be who can keep most of their credibility.

I think Hillary has something up her sleeve. She is NOT a stupid person. In fact, she is extremely intelligent. She knows the numbers are against her. She knows she is causing a rift in the party. She knows the sooner the Dems focus on McCain and not each other, the better. So why is she sticking around? I seriously think she has dug up some dirt on Obama and is waiting for the convention to drop the bomb. What I'm waiting to see is HOW she will release the information. She can't be the one to do it - it has to be someone outside her campaign. Maybe it will be leaked to McCain's party and they will do her dirty work. Mark my words - she has a plan!

Hillary can make a very convincing argument that she should be Senate Majority Leader by leading the united Democratic Party attack on McCain. For her to run as an independent to spite Obama would leave her without a base in the Senate and that is foolish. Now with Hillary leading the Democratic Congressional Candidates in their attacks on their Republican counterparts would McCain:

Attack her and alienate her many dedicated and loyal supporters?
Give her a free pass and show he is respectful of the female vote?
Ponder his loyalty to Bush and the Bush agenda?

So now if the Liberal Left is now out of joint and not loving life right now will McCain attack Hillary and bring them back to the show?

Decisions, Decisions what a summer it will be.

Wow can you imagine the headlines:

Unlike Bill, Hillary leads her congressional colleagues and Obama to a crushing victory in the Fall. Hmmmmm McCain better be ready to buckle her at the knees.

Which is why she doesnt want to be another Lieberman. That will shatter her place in history and make her out to be a sore loser.

She will support Barack Obama and campaign for him-rest assured.

Yup she has a plan and I posted what it might be. I give her more credit then you do and don't think she is a spiteful, manipulative raging person like your scenario suggests. If she had the dirt she would have used it and won in the first place.
