Time's Joe Klein calls out the incompetent GOP nominee for President:
Quote:
At a press conference here, I just asked John McCain about why he keeps talking about Obama's alleged willingness to talk to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who has no power over Iranian foreign policy, rather than Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, who does. He said that Ahmadinejad is the guy who represents Iran in international forums like the United Nations, which is a fair point. When I followed with the observation that the Supreme Leader is, uh, the Supreme Leader, McCain responded that the "average American" thinks Ahmadinejad is the boss. Didn't get a chance to follow up to that, but I would have asked, "But isn't it your job to correct those sorts of mistaken impressions on the part of the American public?" Oh well.
“And I believe that the success will be fairly easy.” [CNN, Larry King Live, 9/24/02]
“I believe that we can win an overwhelming victory in a very short period of time.” [CNN Late Edition, 9/29/02]
“Do you believe that the people of Iraq or at least a large number of them will treat us as liberators?” “Absolutely. Absolutely,” replied McCain. [MSNBC, Hardball, 3/12/03]
“There’s no doubt in my mind that once these people are gone that we will be welcomed as liberators.” [MSNBC, Hardball, 3/24/03]
..or this incredible fundamental mistake that McCain made more than once recently...

McCain said it was "common knowledge and has been reported in the media that al-Qaeda is going back into Iran and receiving training and are coming back into Iraq from Iran, that's well known. And it's unfortunate." A few moments later, Sen. Joseph Lieberman, standing just behind McCain, stepped forward and whispered in the presidential candidate's ear. McCain then said: "I'm sorry, the Iranians are training extremists, not al-Qaeda."
Don't forget how McCaindoesn't seem to know the difference between Sunni and Shiite. How does he expect to win a "war" if he doesn't understand what is currently fueling it today?

Your problem is, you refuse to submit your thinking to Senator Mcain's. Mr. Mcain has so vast experience in foreign relations - his views, and in fact every word should be studied, certainly given thought.
Food for thought:
If Senator Mcain doesnt make the cut after so many years on the international scene and so vast experience in all walks of government and applied political science - Just what the heck can you expect from Obama?

Now, that's disturbing.
According to many many of the pundits and sources that all these forums are based upon - many of these very same sources hint that Mr. Obama knows the differance between Sunni and Shiite, only because of his insiders perspective!

Any one of reasonable intelligence wouldn feel this way at all. Just the scaremongers who really really really want it to be true.
well i still bet mccain knows how many states there are in the country..unlike some other candidate
