The fact that so many Clinton supporters would vote for John McCain over a candidate who would implement basically the same policies as Hillary herself would has prompted me to ask this question.

Are Clinton supporters bitter, vindictive, sore losers who care more about being right and/or winning than improving the state of our country? Many seem like children who do not get their way and throw a tantrum.

Your thoughts are welcome.

I'm tempted to say yes after what I've seen on this board, but I know that truly most aren't like the.....extremists on this board.

I chose "some." I bet most are fine people, it's just the wacko fringe who come to this board and give the rest a bad name.

Luckily, their numbers are inconsequential.

Jesus, ANOTHER thread on this topic? Why don't you simply READ on the many other threads WHY we're not voting for Obama instead of perpetuating crap like this?

It blows my mind how someone can go from supporting Hillary to supporting McCain. Hillary and Obama have very similar platforms, McCain is quite different from the two.

I'm willing to be it's only two things: Obama's name. Obama's race. I've read the claims about racism, links to terrorism, shady friends, and the possibility he's the antichrist. They are weak at best. It's disgusting.

Oh, so you WILL stop this nonsense, actually READ people's reasons, and engage in rational discussion? Or won't that bring you enough attention?

Honestly, it seems that applies to all supporters on all sides sometimes.

However, I have to say - this recurring uber-liberal tact of hurling epithets (bitter, vindictive, sore losers, racist, angry, etc) ultimately makes you look much more immature and child-like than the Hillary supporters.

As much as I hate to admit it, I know there are some rational, intelligent Obama supporters. You're doing them a great disservice with all of this.

It blows my mind too. I honestly think that a lot of these people are just sore losers who will eventually swallow their pride over the upcoming months and come to realize that it will be best for their country and their own futures to vote for Obama. There will probably be some notable exceptions, though.
