Let's begin a thread on Herschel Walker's Senate campaign now that he is the nominee of the Georgia Republican Party.
For starters, this video segment from yesterday gives us a nice preview of what's likely to come forth this year as the Herschel Walker Senate candidacy in Georgia moves forward into the general election campaign!
Coming straight from his mouth yesterday, that is Walker's viewpoint. Play it again so as to thoroughly take it all in.
You may argue that Herschel wasn't prepared but, given what transpired in Uvalde, Texas, a horrible tragedy of a mass shooting that now is a raging topic of discussion, Walker should have had words prepared in his mind &/or should have had an appropriate response formed for him by his campaign.
This is utter cluelessness so I don't give him the benefit of a "pass" here as a result.
This is such an embarrassing situation for the Walker empty suit version of a U.S. Senate candidate and also for the Georgia GOP who now are saddled with him as their candidate to run against Democratic incumbent Senator Raphael Warnock!
It's obvious hthat as goes Herschel, there really is nothing there!
So HW should take VP harris as his role model when responding to questions???????

Hew jumbled responses ok but a not lawyer, first time political candidate is an existential crisis??????
How about that border, leading cause of death from fentanyl, human trafficking, flooding the country with gang members, felons and terrorists from all over the globe and harris is in charge. Beats a call to a senator about a crisis in his state for which he is not in charge.
Maybe use Biden's responses as a role model?????

Personally, I liked his response better than Beto O'Rourke's or Barack Obama's.
and add Biden's press conference. He was way off mentally. He should be in a home being fed jello and pudding and walk 3 times a day to play with the ducks.
When you watch the video, his response is perfectly cogent and reasonable. He wants to see a proposed "gun law" before he can say if he would support it or not.
Any black Republican who thinks they can win against a black Democratic preacher in the south has been misinformed. Whatever political future and goodwill Walker has will be squandered on this fools errand.
The most common tool of any black politician is the gift of gab which escapes him. Black women church folk will pay him no mind and he can't win without them.
There must be better candidates in Georgia, no idea how he got the pick. I could understand him maybe running for state or US congress but not governor, after all MJT got elected but senate should have higher standards. He didn't even attend the debates.
