Or is labeling someone a RINO just the knee-jerk reaction for anyone who is not an avid Trump supporter?

The constant flip-flopping and pandering to the Dems ever since Trump lost the presidency, as well as January 6th. She's playing both sides so she's not lumped into the same category many other Republicans are. For God sakes, the media even encouraged her to become a Democrat. She's even considered the option.

She really doesn't give a damn about any of it. As long as it doesn't cost her seat, she's willing to play both sides. So yeah, I'd say she's a RINO.

The Friday after the disastrous withdrawal of troops in Afghanistan, Representative Cheney was publicly blaming President Trump for what happened. The following Monday, after a weekend of Republicans, Independents, and Democrats bashing President Biden, Representative Cheney blamed President Biden for what happened.

Representative Cheney is a typical, stick a wet finger up to see which way the wind is blowing, politician. She would not receive my vote, in the primary election.

And she definitely needs a paycheck. She's not her father, although he became an outcast after the Bush administration left office. It's honestly a miracle that the Cheney name wasn't damaged enough to have Liz lose. Liz is definitely aware that the party and her voters are moving on from her. You can see it in her eyes every time she speaks that she's worried.
No, she doesn't.

Even if her father hasn't set up any trusts for her, her husband is a partner at the second largest law firm in the world.

Good riddance to this Democrat Party shill.
It's so weird conservatives say this when she has consistently voted conservative on pretty much all points throughout her career.

The ONLY thing she did was say Dear Leader was wrong about fraud...and then stick with that, against extreme pressures to obey Dear Leader and back down.

Good to know the GOP is totally not authoritarian. I wonder what's next for traitors to Dear Leader? Dragged out of their homes at night, maybe? Ja voll.

You guys are scary. We were smart to vote against this very scary trend.

The state of Wyoming voted for Trump by well over a 40% margin. Trump voters are thoroughly unpersuaded by the findings of the 1/6 committee, and consider it a partisan witch hunt at worst, and irrelevant political theater at best. With such a perspective in her constituency, I don't see any path to Rep. Cheney winning another term in Congress.

Also Trump is the definition of vindictive, and revenge against everyone on the committee is going to be an integral part of his agenda if he prevails in 2024. He doesn't always get his way, but he never forgives those who attempt to undermine or discredit him.

You can call Liz Cheney a establishment republican but calling her a rino is laughable. She is more of an conservative than Trump will ever be. She is losing her seat because she refused to go along with the big lie. It is a simple as that.

Liz Cheney is a true American patriot. Losing her job to bring down a treasonous criminal like Trump is an act of honor and courage. The Republican Party is inflicted by a cancer that is eating it from the inside out; reasonable Republicans such as Cheney need to start a new centrist conservative party. The Republican Party is a lost cause.

A Cheney? hahahaha! thanks for the laugh. If Dick was a German during WW 2 he would have been convicted of a war criminal and the political career of the whole family done. Liz would have to change her last name to get a job.

How do you lie to go to war, be behind torture and kill a million of people (minimum), doubled down and get rich doing it and still have a job in government and your daughter use your name to get elected? Twilight Zone stuff.

Go ahead let her start her own party. Not in Wyoming and not as a conservative. Kinda hard to get their votes when she went after the base and let the Democrats used her like a tool. She is done.
