I'm not from WY. I'm from Utah and We have our own problems with Mitt and the governor trying to be woke. After the debacle of the W Bush/Cheney era I wanted an end to that in the Republican and it took Trump to end that in 2016 because these people were making a comeback in the party. Jeb Bush and Liz Cheney running in 2016, what is wrong with this? Bringing the same failed policies with a different first name but that's ok? You think anybody behind the Iraq debacle and doubles down after the fact shouldn't hold public office ever but here they are in office.

My problem with Liz is how they try to package her and sell this image about honesty above all. She only has 10% chance of winning in her state and instead of accepting that and retire she goes nuclear on the party and her base while getting millions of dollars from out of the state sources not the people of WY. The arrogance but she has to stay and fight to stay in power because she has to save democracy.

I can't argue with that.

But Cheney has always been that way and the people of Wyoming were fine with her. Why is it NOW that they noticed all of this about her? She is a standard issue Republican, no different than 99% of the others.

She hasn't changed one iota. They were fine with her before.

For the record, most Democrats would like to see her crash and burn, she is a Republican and she represents everything wrong with the Republican party.

I agree 100%

And the fact that you don't like Republicans taking money from well-heeled donors and doing their bidding.

You sound like a Democrat ... really ... you are a natural.

There are at least 200 other Republicans in the House just like her.

LOL. You are confused again. Democrats take money and lots of it. My problem with Liz is that most of her donations are not from the people of Wyoming or any interests in the state but from out of state. Money is not going to save her.

If you are going to represent your state it would be nice that you have more than 10% chance of winning and most of your donations come from the state not outside and if the majority of the people in your state tells you to cool it, you listen. You work for them. Liz thinks she is above them and forgot who are her bosses.

You think if a Democrat from Chicago or NYC impeaches Obama twice against their wishes you think that Democrat has a 50-50 chance of re-election? Tell me how many Democrats voted to impeach Clinton?

Bernie Sanders said the proceedings were a waste of resources, and a distraction from the challenges America should have been dealing with but Trump deserves 2 impeachments and a hearing 1 1/2 years after he left office. Democrats are comedians. If a Republican says the same thing today they are cults and dumb people.

Democrat Sen. Dianne Feinstein voted "not guilty" for both impeachment articles. She also made it clear she didn't condone his behavior. "I do not defend it. And I do not accept it. The conduct at the heart of the charges is deplorable," she said. After he was acquitted she pushed to censure Clinton, but the Senate didn't back it. Democrats putting the constitution above again.

Democrat Sen. Chuck Schumer voted "not guilty" to both impeachment articles. He wrote a letter to Clinton before he was acquitted, saying he was "shaken" that Clinton might be removed because of the whims of a political group who hated him and wanted to "exploit the institutions of freedom." Democrats protecting the constitution.

Democrat Sen. Dick Durbin voted "not guilty" for both impeachment articles.

Democrat Sen. Robert Menendez voted against impeaching Clinton. He asked Republicans where their sense of fairness was, and added, "Monica Lewinsky is not Watergate. Let he who has no sin in this chamber cast the first stone."

This is Nancy Pelosi putting party over country and the constitution some 24 years ago:

The funny thing is these people are still in power lecturing us about the truth, putting country above party and protecting the constitution now. Their hypocrisy and how fake they are is a bigger problem than whatever they accuse Trump. This is what's the problem with government but Trump can't hold office ever again but these people can?

Cheney does not understand what the word representative means and therefore needs to stop being one.
But you know what's odd? She voted more with Trump's position than either Mike Lee or Rand Paul and it wasn't by a small percentage. FiveThirtyEight tracked every member of the House and Senate through Jan 13, 2021. Voted with Trump position: Cheney 92.9 percent, Paul 68.9 percent, Lee 73.2 percent.

This is the hack in charge of government that lectured us that hating on Clinton was bad for the country and impeachment was wrong. Then 22 years laters she does it to Trump worse by impeaching him TWICE and put a 1 sided hearing after 1 1/2 years Trump leaving office. Trump must not be allow to hold public office ever again but Nancy Pelosi and her hacks have a right to be in government for years? What's wrong with this picture. Makes you want to call out a revolution.

But you like the rest of democrats here are ignoring her bread and butter of her foreign policy. Trump wants to cut by a lot the money that goes to other countries in wars and occupations and bring troops home. Liz like her father it's the opposite.

Why can't you Democrats admit that and why act so clueless with "why, Liz is so nice" b.s. Stop being so clueless in what's the heart of the clash and struggle in the party.

Liz Cheney thanks to her daddy was in the U.S. State Department and was appointed Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs and Coordinator for Broader Middle East and North Africa Initiatives. Then daddy also put her head of the Iran Syria Policy and Operations Group (ISOG). All looking for wars and regime changes.

Trump came to office with America First Foreign policy that Liz is deadly against. Just follow the money with Liz and that tells you who she represents and why she is doing everything in her power so Trump doesn't run in 2024 against the wishes of her constituents in Wyoming.

If Trump was a NEO CON like W Bush and Dick Cheney you think Liz would do what she is doing? You know the answer to this but won't admit it.
