This is coming, and you have to wonder what the "Republican" strategy will be to keep her from being an effective spoiler. They know for certain they aren't going to be able to intimidate her.
Liz has been Never-Trump since 2015, the only people she will siphon votes from are the Democrats.

Very few Democrats will vote for Cheney, if Biden is running. Sure there will be a few. But there are plenty of Republicans out in the heartland that are looking for someplace to put their vote other than with Trump, especially female voters. Remember, she only has to siphon off a few percent from DeSantis or Trump to tilt the election to Biden, since the margins in these elections are so small.

If she decides to go independent it's going to be a big problem for Trump or DeSantis or any Big Lie candidate. Given that about 30% of Republicans don't swallow the fable that Biden "stole" the election of 2020.

I'm talking about all the Republican voters that voted for Biden.

They are the only votes that Liz will succeed in siphoning off.

My belief is that virtually all the 2020 Trump voters are strongly invested in him and not open to any candidate who has been vocal in opposing his lies. Some of them could be persuaded by a Republican who espouses "anti-woke", conservative policy, applauds the outcomes of his term, questions election integrity without being too explicit that 2020 was "stolen" and doesn't display his endless personal drama and narcissism.

Cheney isn't this type of candidate who would appeal to the movable 2020 Trump voters because she has been extremely visible partnering with liberal Democrats in calling out Trump's conduct. Such voters also strongly dislike the dynastic families from the last few decades such as hers, especially being associated with Bush Jr's term.

Biden or any other Democrat can't earn 270 electoral college votes with liberal support alone. They need a sufficient number of moderates, and enough of the old-style conservative "RINO" types to win. Splitting the anti-Trump support between a relatively standard liberal Democrat and a Cheney-type conservative could very well be a recipe for Trump getting a second term with 45% or less of the national popular vote (and no need for lectures - we know this is functionally irrelevant). In such a circumstance there is likely to be an extremely #MAGA oriented Congressional majority that will support both Trump's policy agenda, and his quest for revenge against everyone who wronged him since his entry into politics.

What would that list look like?

The weaponized politicized fbi, doj, cia, nsa, irs, media, war with Iran, war with North Korea, China, Russia, inflation, recession, anything less than 3% gdp, high fuel prices, dependence on China and Russia and Saudi Arabia for energy, 2 million illegal aliens across our border so far this fiscal year alone, unaffordable groceries, "peaceful" protests during the 2020 Summer Of Love Biden Campaign Rallies, vilification of our Police Force, the state of our education system, the condition of our Aviation industry... etc., etc.

Could you just imagine what President Donald J. Trump could have accomplished had he not had this garbage to combat and have to fix?

We Trump Supporters will not give up ever. Ever. Ever. Just go now and look in the mirror. See your flaws without going to ... WAA! But but but wut about tWump?

It's childish.

There is absolutely ZERO chance of Biden running for the office again, he will lucky to still be standing in two more years, and even the democrats don't want anything to do with him. Democrats are really stupid, but for the most part, not crazy.
Liz Chaney is certifiably crazy, her only interest is revenge, not a real good platform to run and win on. She would get less interest than Kammy got in the primaries.

Bingo. Sleepy Joe already has one foot in assisted living, and Cheney is scorned beyond reality. Neither are long for holding political office.

Not true. She will not win but she will be a landing spot for never Trumpers in the GOP.

Yes, but the point is that those never-Trumpers voted for Biden in 2020. If Cheney is on the ballot as a third party option, many if not most of those people will be voting for Cheney -- not Biden -- in 2024.

So I encourage Cheney to run her doomed campaign. The only person it's going to help is Donald Trump. Everyone knows Lizzy is nothing more than a DNC party hack at this point.
