Just when you think it couldn't get any worse 2024 is going to be a disaster unless Trump is held accountable for what he has done. His ex-wife falling down the stairs?

Don't tapdance. Come right out and clearly say what you are insinuating. Own it.

7 Democrats voted for Liz and 13 for Kinzinger. That's 20 votes that they will get in real life. This is more wishful thinking in the Twilight Zone. 2 losers without a party.

In other words, Trump was normal and all the reports of his crazy antics were false?

Next to Biden, Trump was fine. Democrats knew Biden was senile before the election and still pushed him on the nation. You should sit down on this one, no leg to stand on.

We were discussing Trump and his reflection in the media. You see how you deflect?

I'm not a republican, so my opinion doesn't count. But if I were a Republican, this would be my thoughts:

Kinzinger and Cheney are considered RINOs, so they got no chance.

Trump is a terrible stain on a once-great party, and can't be allowed back in.

DeSantis is too much like Trump

Ted Cruz is too conservative, and besides, everyone who knows him hates him.

Pence didn't exactly distinguish himself as VP.

So none of the above.

Nikki Haley perhaps managed to serve in Trump's cabinet without soiling herself too much

Glenn Youngkin looks good, but lacks name recognition

Rand Paul?

DeSantis has a resume that is nearly perfect. No one can say he hasn't been effective in getting his message and legislative agenda approved. Doesn't mean you like what he's done, but no one can say he's been ineffective.

The intensity of his haters suggests how good a job he's doing at keeping the wokies/progressives at bay. Most popular governor and republican in the country.

This is even easier than 2016, because now Trump has an endless list of political achievements, plus he hasn't aged one bit.
good luck with that.
