I'm in a House district (IN-1) that may actually be in play ... it's been in Dem's hands for a hundred years. For the first time it's moved from "solidly blue" to "leans blue" - and I can't tell you how huge that is.

I'm in the exact same situation here in my Leans Democrat House District.
Hasn't had Republican representation since 1988 - but the sitting Congressman is retiring and it's turning into a free for all. And the likely Republican nominee just happens to be unusually popular as a former Mayor of the second largest city.

I can't wait til it gets into the thick of it on all of our local social media boards.
I plan on calling everyone a racist misogynist who plans to vote for the white male incumbent. It will be glorious!
I say if this happens we round up all the liberals and toss them over the fence into Canada.

This is all well and good. But... I wouldn't count the chickens before they hatch.
That was my thought too. A lot can happen before November but signs are pointing in the right direction. Besides needing someone to keep the DNC liberal political aspirations in check, I'd also love to see a large Democrat loss because they are so arrogant. They always imply only they know what is good for Americans.
Sometimes their smugness is just plain annoying. I hope they lose big.
