You can read all the poles you want. To me they really mean nothing. All I know is most credible economists say McCain's policies would be the best for our economy. I am niether a Democrat or Republican, I vote for who has the best policies for our nation, and will make it prosper. And who will spend the least getting the job done.

I really have to laugh when I watch the news channels and they have both sides discuss a topic on strategy to win votes. Like McCain picking Friday to give his health report, or Clinton giving there tax return numbers on 4:00 pm on Friday. Who really cares. All I want to know is how they stand on issues. Race, Gender, or Age mean very little to me. And I can only handle about 5 minutes of ABC, CBS, CNN, or FOX. Try the buisness channels like CNBC or Bloomberg. They discuss what really matters.

McCain better for the economy? WHAT! Those economist must have been paid by McCain to make such foolish statements. McCain is Bush. No difference.

I watch both networks daily. It should be noted they are as would be expected they are free market investors who most clearly believe in a laissez faire hands off by government approach to economics.
Laissez Faire

Folks on wall street have profited greatly from the market as have many individual investors. Thus for some the status quo is what you may want. If you feel that the current economy has not and is not working to the advantage of you as an individual and that big business is profiting and Joe Average isn't then you might want to consider a more hands on approach then Senator McCain supports. However you should realize that the most successful capitalist Warren Buffet endorsed Obama.

McCain is definatly not Bush. He was not my first choice, but out of the three we have to chose from I believe he would be the best for our country. Some of the things Obama say's he would do I hope are just talk to get the uninformed to vote for him.

My mother, who was an investor told me at a young age "You need to learn how to make money during the good and bad times with your investments"
So far so good. I did well during the housing boom and now with energy, I have to say things are going fairly well.

I know Warren Buffet is a Democrat, but I was a little surprised he chose Obama.

Go Exxon/Mobil
Go Energy Sector

yup you can make more money investing in the energy sector then you pay in gas with a $10,000 investment.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. I have a small trucking company and I spent $78000 in fuel for the month of April. The fuel surcharges do help and uncle sam won't get so much tax money this year. But that is my buisness, and my personal investments are doing fine. Don't forget what ethanol has done for us (Monsanto, John Deere). No complaints here.
