I don't understand the tie in with RFK and Obama (except for the threats part). I think she was trying to say that her meddling husband and RFK didn't essentially wrap up their campaigns until late in the primary contest. Therefore she may have been trying to justify reasons for her to stay in it. I am only assuming this and therefore wouldn't be surprised if her remarks were more sinister in reality. Regardless what she meant the comments about assassination in the midst of an election campaign were very inappropriate.

I agree. Reading the article, I assumed she was bringing up the Kennedy assassination because of the time it occurred. The media was just trying to use this to keep the hype going. I mean I'm not voting for her but I doubt she way saying "I'm staying the race because he'll probably get assassinated" If that was the case she could have dropped out a long time ago and saved herself some money.
