And she won by 7 points - 51% to 44% over the Democrat.

Fantastic news and a sign of things to come.

Great news, hope we get a lot more of this in traditional dumb liberal areas.

I’m assuming it’s mostly Mexican American folks in that district? If so, I guess they are getting tired of being pandered to by liberal white progressives who don’t even share their values.

I actually gained respect for the people in this district.

What’s funny is that liberal whites won’t understand the dynamics at play here and they will continue to pander and use the term Latinx and likely turn off even more people.

The writing has been on the wall the day Biden got into office. This just the first paragraph of the last chapter for democrats and the progressive causes that has dragged down the American people and made them poorer with the unnecessary inflation.

Just to add to this, with the district becoming more Democratic under the new lines and Gonzalez running here, the Democrats have a decent chance to pick this back up in November, though the GOP likely picks up TX-15 which is an open seat due to Gonzalez running in TX-34.

She will have to run again in November, again against a Current CongressCritter who doesn’t live in Cameron County. This District is more heavily Democrat that his District, so he thinks it easy pickings. He almost lost his last Election.

Democrats are shrugging over this loss and say it’s only for a couple of months until they get it back. They are very arrogant AND very out of touch with the changes in the Rio Grande Valley. Women are rising and they are speaking out about the real issues they face daily. Inflation, Crime, Education & Border Security.
Don’t forget the Biden Administration’s attempt to destroy the oil and gas industry. That’s their livelihoods.

That's what happens when the Democrats keep going further and further to the left when Hispanics have always been culturally conservative in general. The Democratic party left them.

The Democrat party left everyone in favor of the dregs of society and cultural misfits.
