Trump won't even make it through his own primary this will become clear next year.

Nope, I never complained about democracy dying when Bush Jr won. Nor, back in my conservative days, when Bill Clinton won. Trump's in a far different category, as evidenced by his boorish bigotry and nasty caricatures against anyone he disdains; not to mention his attempted overthrow of our government. The fact that he's got a literally cult following only further reinforces this - cult leaders tend to have great manipulation and impression management skills.

Why is the question binary? NEITHER. Third party or write in.

Neither. Both suck. But Newsom will beat DJT.

And you still like Biden? He’s not exactly nice and he’s badly incompetent. But worse, he’s not making any of these decisions so to replace him with another democrat won’t change the problems we face as a country. I’d rather have DeSantis personally, but if the choices are Trump or any democrat I’m choosing Trump. Until the democrats get back to sanity they deserve to be voted out as often as possible.

I agree. The Dems have lost their sanity and until they get it back they should be taught a lesson by voting them out with overwhelming numbers.

It is funny how so many complain about Trump the man but they seldom complain about how the economy was humming along, gas was cheap, food was affordable and everyday was a great day to be an American. Yes Trump was a narcissist and his personality rubbed people the wrong way but he was a doer a guy that got the job done. He was a lot smarter than the Left gave him credit for.

All we see is failure in California under Newsom and the stupid Woke assertion that America is bad and evil. Give me a President, flaws, Huuuge Ego and all but as long as he Loves America and does his best for the People of this great country what more can we ask? What more do we need?

While I have minimal interest in Newsom becoming president, the fact Trump is getting over 80% of the vote in this poll is very revealing about this forum. Probably about the only match-up where the D would defeat the R in City-Data polls is Gabbard vs. Kinzinger, neither of whom will ever be nominated by their respective parties.
