I could not correct the options. But lets try again. Who would you vote for in 2024 if the election were between Trump and Gov Newsom? And why? Some Dems are pushing Newsom to run in 2024.

I don't know. On one hand we have a guy that created the most incredible and prosperous time in many years to be a proud and Patriotic American. In the other hand we have a guy that is Anti American, Pro Illegal Alien, Pro Criminal while he turns his back on the Millions of drug addled Homeless in his state.

Trump is a Bull in a China shop. He was a politician that stomped loudly and carried a club.
Newsome is a Snake in Sheeple Clothing. He is a politician that throws elbows and passes the buck.

If it comes down to Trump or Newsome the decision is an easy one. We might have to hold our noses but we have to vote for America.

I'll take Trump's narcissism and mean tweets over Newsom and the condition he's left California in. A budget surplus for that state, you say? The cost of living in that state is hands down one of the worst in the nation. Who knows how much of that wealth is going towards meaningful policy endeavours and not just pet projects like multi-gender inclusive bathrooms or what have you. The image of rampant vandalism, shop thefts, faeces and needles on the streets of certain cities doesn't portray the state in a positive light either. I certainly wouldn't want the architect of California's predicament at the helm of America as a whole.

I have friends that live in California. No way in hell would I want to live that way, gross. I wish the best for them but sorry, they are stuck with gruesome Newscum. And he should leave the residents of Florida alone. Just because Newscum is making his residents miserable doesn't mean he should bring everyone else down with them. That's just plain evil.

I would vote for just about anyone or anything before I'd vote for Newsom. He's proven himself to be about as authoritarian as Putin, if not more so.

Newsom. He's got the guts to go on the offensive against DeSantis.

Plus, America cannot survive 4 more years of Donald Trump and MAGA - at least not very well. That'll be the end of democracy in this country (including representative republics).

Governor Newsom. Not because I like *him* that much but because he is not Trump. All the comments about “mean tweets” ignore what really bothers people about him: when someone is so vile on the inside they show it publicly, that’s not someone I want leading the country. It’s not the tweets. It’s the terrible psyche they reveal.

Trump is too old. Plus, here we are two years later and he's still whining about how the election was stolen from him. It's always about him. I haven't paid that much attention to Newsom. It will be interesting to see if he primaries Biden.

Survive??? Before COVID, those were some of the best years for millions of Americans in recent memory. No matter who gets elected, there are always millions who complain that democracy has died a little bit more as a result because their candidate did not win, so your complaint is nothing new at all.
